This does not apply in cases of delayed performance of the hotel or any impossibility of providing services for which it is responsible.
For booked nights up to 5 people (individual guest), the guest / customer can withdraw from the contract for a maximum of 4 days before the agreed arrival day, without triggering payment or damage claims. Thereafter, the hotel is free to set the resulting damage as follows:
Cancellation up to 4 days before arrival = no cancellation fee

For a minimum stay of 6 persons (= group arrangement), the cancellation conditions stated separately in the terms and conditions apply.

Special times, special events, and holidays are subject to different cancellation conditions.
The customer is free to prove that the hotel was not damaged or that the damage incurred by the hotel is lower than the required cancellation fee. For rooms not used by the customer, the hotel has to offset the income from other rental of the rooms and the saved expenses.
The right of withdrawal of the hotel refers in particular to factually justified reasons z. Force majeure, or if rooms have been booked under misleading or false information about the guest or purpose, or if there is reasonable reason to believe that the smooth running of the business, security and / or reputation of the hotel could be jeopardized, etc. Hotel Potsdam am Katharinenholz must notify the customer of the exercise of the right of withdrawal without delay.
